Petro-SealTM Strength Fuel tanks must be tough and ductile. Tanks are often drilled and/or tapped, and metal inserts are commonplace. Tanks made with the bi-layer Petro-SealTM system withstand these rigors, and do not delaminate when tapped, drilled, or when mechanical inserts are installed. They commonly have a peel strength greater than 20 N/cm.
Petro-SealTM Permeability Layer adhesion is critical to ensure low permeation, especially to alcohol containing fuels, and Petro-SealTM technology delivers.
