Electrostatic Spraying
Main advantages of the process:
- High degree of application flexibility
- Close thickness control tolerances for thin coatings
- Possible re-use of over-spray
- Process can be fully automated
- Rapid post application fusion (lower heating temperature than with fluidisation)
- Masking and selective coating possible
- Smaller inventories of powder are required by the coater
Fluidized Bed

- Coating of parts with complex geometry with uniform coating thickness
- External and internal coating in a single operation
- Highly flexible in terms of part dimension
- No need of post-curing
- High production rates
- Limited powder waste

- No limitation in term of part dimension and geometry
- Good flexibility
- Low investment in equipment
- No need of post-curing

- Fast and easy coating of small parts in large numbers
