Platamid® Hot Melt Adhesives are polyamide copolymers with high molecular weight. They are primarily used as hot melt adhesives in the apparel interlining and automotive industry. Platamid® Hot Melt Adhesives are also used during the manufacturing of technical textiles for non-apparel uses and in the building/construction industry.
Platamid® Hhot Melt Adhesives are also used to produce varnishes for selfbonding wire for deflection yolk coils in cathode ray tubes.
Arkema produces and sells Platherm® Hot Melt Adhesives which are polyester copolymer powders mainly used in the apparel interlining and automotive industry as hot melt adhesive.
