The properties of Pebax® Resins make them highly valuable in the manufacture of surgical gowns.
Hydrophilic Pebax® Resin grades (MV 1074, MV 3000, MV 6100, MV 1041 and MH 1657) are easy to process into breathable films, i.e. impermeable to water whilst permeable to steam.

Remarkable mechanical strength, in particular resistance to perforation

II - Properties of Lotryl™ Resins
Cast film polyethylene requires additional processing, with an embossed chill roll, to improve the comfort properties and noise performance. This process requires additional manufacturing and capital expenses. This additional process is not needed with Lotryl™ Resins.
