Cristamid® Resins Eyeglass Frames

Intrinsically transparent Cristamid® Resins satisfy the following eye glass frame application requirements:
  • Resistance to stress cracking and swelling in contact with eyeglass cleaning products and cosmetics.
  • Wide temperature range dimensional stability, due to elevated glass transition temperatures of grades MS 1700 (170°C) and MS 1100 (115°C)
  • Good notched and un-notched impact strength
  • Injection moldable
  • High-gloss, good surface finish and high depth of color
  • Low shrinkage and distortion on molded parts
  • Low moisture absorption
  • Good tactile properties
