Triazoles are synthesis intermediates derived from hydrazine hydrate.

Arkema currently markets four products:

• 1,2,4 Triazole
• 1,2,4 Triazole Sodium Salt
• 4-amino-1,2,4 triazole
• 3-amino-1,2,4 triazole

Used for:

• The synthesis of active ingredients for phytosanitary, pharmaceutical and veterinary products (especially thanks to the anti-fungal properties of these Triazoles)
  
• Photographic products

Note:

• Because of its purity and its chemical structure, 4-amino-1,2,4 triazole is used to increase the selectivity of the desired active isomers and thus obtain excellent yields.
  
• In crystallized form, 1,2,4 Triazole Sodium Salt possesses a high degree of purity and remarkable free flowing.

3-amino-1,2,4 triazole is used as:

• An herbicide, especially in vineyards and orchards,
  
• An intermediate for the synthesis of dyes, lubricants, anticorrosion products and active ingredients for pharmaceuticals.
