Crosslinking Product Recommendations:
By Polymer:
The selection of the right peroxide will depend on various parameters.
| Key: |
| LDPE |
Low density polyethylene |
| HDPE |
High density polyethylene |
| EVA |
Ethyl-Vinyl acetate |
| EPM/EPDM |
Ethylene-propylene monomers |
| CM |
Chlorinated polyethylene |
| Q |
Silicon rubbers |
| NBR |
Butadiene acrylonitrile rubber |
| SBR |
Styrene butadiene rubber |
By Temperature: Suggested maximum compounding temperature
The suggested maximum compounding temperature is the temperature at which the scorch time (ts05) is equal to 5 minutes. If this temperature is exceeded during compounding the peroxide can decompose and lead to undesired crosslinking or side reactions.
