NIR (Near Infrared) Spectroscopy Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis

At Arkema Analytical Solutions, near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy is used to develop qualiitative and quantitative methods for product quality control (QC) protocols.  In our analytical laboratory we have successfully developed robust methods for multicomponent blends, for monomer quantification in copolymers, for moisture and residual monomer levels and for product Pass/Fail tests.  Following calibration, NIR determinations can be made at-line or in a QC lab within 5 minutes, minimizing product rejection and rework.
